Margaux Menand is a Savannah College of Art & Design alum with a bachelor’s degree in Fibers. While growing up, she enjoyed exploring a variety of different mediums which bled into her blossoming interest in art, resulting in a multidisciplinary style of work. She usually unites variations of techniques into each of her pieces, letting spontaneity and impulse drive the boat of creation as she observes in the passenger seat.

Different thematic throughout her work range from struggles of self-perception to the attempted preservation of memory, and more generally the human experience. Her main source of inspiration derives from both the real world and the cinematic universe, as she tries to maintain a rhythm of watching one film a day to sustain her creative nature.
